This traditional stone cottage, believed to date back to the 15th Century, is just 20 minutes from the M4 Junction 47, Swansea and The Mumbles, and is within easy reach of all the bays (the nearest just two miles away). It is ideally situated to enable you to enjoy all the pleasures of the peninsula of Gower, Britain's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

For those who would like the option of exploring further afield the Pembrey Country Park, Kidwelly Castle, Dan Yr Ogof Caves and the Welsh National Museum are a few of the attractions within just one hours journey by car.

Located in the hamlet of Burry Green, surrounded by the unspoiled Gower countryside, 'Burry Cottage' is sited in the grounds of 'Burry Court' and its 3 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens, with lawns, orchard and rockeries containing many exotic shrubs. The gardens prove to be a source of pleasure for our guests at all seasons of the year.

'Burry Cottage' is a traditionally decorated and comfortably furnished spacious property, with a polished wooden floor to the lounge and carpet in the bedroom. The Cottage has electric space heaters and a feature fireplace. The accommodation is on a single level with easy level access from the adjacent off street secure parking area.

LIVING ROOM

The large high beamed living room (4m x 6.5m) has a feature open fireplace with coal effect electric stove. The furniture and fittings, chosen to make our guests feel at home, include a colour television and VCD/DVD player, bookcase with a selection of novels and books on Gower. Three piece lounge suite, dining table, chairs, and oriental cupboards.

BEDROOM

Well proportioned (4m x 3.6m) and furnished in keeping with the period style of the property. Full bedroom suite and queen size double bed. An additional folding bed or a full size cot can also be accommodated, either of which can be provided to suit your requirements.

KITCHEN

The kitchen (2.4m x 2.4m) is located at one end of the lounge/diner and incorporates a gas cooker with timer, microwave, refridgerator and freezer. A full complement of crockery, cooking utensils and cleaning products are housed in built in cupboards.

BATHROOM

The spacious bathroom (1.6m x 3.4m) is fully fitted with a large step-in shower unit, wash basin in fitted vanity unit and toilet.

ENTRANCE

The entrance double doors open out onto a patio and barbecue area adjoining the main lawns and gardens of Burry Court.
